Environmental Benefits: Conserves energy in two ways: First, lower temperatures in the AC compressor means it runs at a lower pressure, allowing it to use less energy. Second, your AC will run for shorter periods since it will transfer heat more efficiently as air it is cooling is already up to 30 degrees cooler than outside temperatures.
Savings: Saves up to 30% instantly on air conditioning costs, using no electricity and less than 6 cents of water per day. Payback is in months, not years!

Ideal Use: Best where summer season is longest - you get faster payback when you use central AC all year.
Directions for Use: Installs in less than five minutes to the top of most outdoorhome air conditioning units. No tools required.
Maintenance: To prevent mineral buildup on coils or misters, replace the watertreatment cartridge when it expires. Your Cool-n-Save kit ships with a 3-month cartridge, though it will last longer if your AC is not on all the time or if your water is softer rather than harder. Spray down the outside of your condenser monthly with a 50/50 mixture of water and white vinegar or lemon concentratecleaner and rinse off with clean water.
Cleaning: If your nozzles are not performing properly, simply turn off the water supply to the device and remove clogged misting nozzles. Soak the nozzles in a calcium, lime, and rust reducing agent for 5 minutes, rinse, replace into the misting arms, and turn your water source back on. Avoid: Not recommended for heat pumps when in "Heat Mode."
